Mona Lisa Painting’s Newest Revelation

I saw the news about a new theory about the “Mona Lisa” painting. According to Silvano Vinceti, an Italian art historian, he believes that the model for the “Mona Lisa” was a man named Gian Giacomo Caprotti. I have done my research about the said person and I saw that Caprotti or better known as Salai was da Vinci’s male apprentice and one of his favorite student. It also said that he had an intimate relationship with him (so that means da Vinci is gay). Da Vinci might base his inspiration from Salai as I view some pictures of him; I saw some resemblance in the eyes, nose and smile as “Mona Lisa.” To strengthen his theory further, Vinceti discovered some objects in the eyes of the “Mona Lisa” such as the letter “S” in the woman’s left eye, the letter “L” in her right eye, and the number “72” under the bridge in the background (I wonder what the number “72” mean is). Those images are not visible to the naked eye. However, many historians still claim that it was a portrait of Lisa Ghehardini. Whatever it is, the “Mona Lisa” painting will still a mystery just like her smile.
